About Me: I previously worked in healthcare, specifically in pharmacy while I studied Applied Science at college.
During my time at the pharmacy, I started learning about living a healthier life. At the time, I was a smoker and very overweight. I didn’t really value or appreciate my health for what it was, I very much took it for granted. So when I turned 20, I decided it was time for a change. I wanted to get myself in better shape and improve my quality of life. So I hired a personal trainer for 6 months and started my journey.
After 6 months of personal training I had a better understanding, and a base of knowledge to work from. From the base level, the only way is up. I put in as much effort as I could when I was training.
In around a year I had lost 36KG (5 and a half stone!). It was such a crazy difference. I would walk around the streets and people wouldn’t even recognise me!
I also started learning more about nutrition and food groups and started educating myself more.
I fully engrossed myself into the world of fitness and nutrition.
This was ultimately the driving force in my life. I gave up smoking, junk food, drinking and all those other bad habits in my life.
I started to value and appreciate my life in ways I never thought possible beforehand.
I enjoyed weightlifting and made some great progress over the course of a couple of years, Something I still do to this day.
It’s the balance and sanctity for my sanity.
The profound effect it had my life was truly indescribable.
This is why I am so passionate about what I do. I don’t know where I would be without it.
The gym and healthy lifestyle has changed my world for the better. This is why I want to help other people achieve their goals. Because I know first hand the good it does.
